Ayn Rand on Objective Philosophy

I am sorry I keep going back and forth on these thoughts.  I am exploring two sets of ideas, Ludwig von Mises and Ayn Rand, and how they move apart.  I think this is important.

You are welcome to watch the entire clip (about 14 minutes).  Since I do not know how to edit Youtube clips, I am suggesting you watch the first two minutes or so.  In this part, her ideas about the dangers of subjective philosophy are explained.

After you finish, please consider watching 6:41 – 9:15.  In this part, she talks about finding her sister, bringing her sister to New York, and why her sister ultimately returned to the Soviet Union.  In my opinion, many forget how strong the bonds of oppression can be.  Even when given freedom, they may still be prisoners.  How sad.

The movie is Ayn Rand- A Sense of Life.
