The company who put together this short is Purple Feather. http://purplefeather.co.uk/
A purple feather is an item that means very little to the average person but means a great deal to a specific person. To give a purple feather is to give someone something that means a great deal only to them.
What a powerful message.
Thank you, Heather O, for the link.
For my definition, I found this site http://purplefeather.com/why.html
Got sumpin’ in my eye . . .
This is just now making the rounds in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. At least I’m just now seeing it. I’m like Leonard. “Got sumpin’ in my eye…” I’ve looked at this half a dozen times, and each time I can feel sumpin’ wet sliding down my cheeks. What a beautiful statement this makes. I’m thinking of trying to write a Lenten devotional for my church’s annual booklet from the message in this very compelling video. Do I need permission from anyone?
So simple yet so incredibly powerful. I’m a 49 year-old guy who tends to not show a lot of emotions (as most guys do), and this just dropped me to my knees in one fell swoop.
Undoubtly words can change lives and the future of people, overnight. Your video “THE POWER OF WORDS” carries a message for people who are humane.
Great and Marvellous!!
Beautiful video. There are so many kind people in this world. Videos like this restore my faith in mankind.
great and marvellous thought, I like it very munch
Never heard about,”Giving a purple feather”, ever before. However,”A feather in the cap” is used often. Which signifies, an individual’s great achievement or a accomplishment.
This is just a personal thought and no offence ment to anyone.
Truly thought provoking…well done to the PurpleFeather folks!
Excellence at its best. The words are
beautifully placed and expressed in
superb manner. It touches the heart.
Great!!!
Wonderful content. Very touching, loved it! Thank you for creating this. The world needs this powerful message, yes we need to change our words!
An excellent idea of showing the power of words, through the symbol of a feather,to generate feeling, compassion, empathy, sympathy, and mercy to those who are in the most urgent need in times of pain, suffering, and distress. The father of this FEATHER idea deserves all appreciation from all kind- hearted people.
Words have power. I was a smoker and I prayed, God help me to stop smoking. He answered my prayer, I stopped smoking every night then started again in the morning. Then god said watch your verbs so I thought about it and changed my prayer to God help me to quit smoking. I quit the next day.
you are right………. tnx
If you wish for to get a good deal from this post then you have to apply these strategies to your won weblog.
Undeniably believe that which you said. Your favorite justification appeared to be on the web the
simplest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I certainly get irked while people
think about worries that they plainly don’t know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well as defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people could take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thanks
