“Education is about finding out what form of work for you is close to being play—work you do so easily that it restores you as you go…
Having found what’s best for you to do, you may be surprised how far you rise, how prosperous, even against your own projections, you become.”.–Mark Edmunson http://www.oxfordamerican.org/articles/2011/aug/22/who-are-you-and-what-are-you-doing-here/#.Tm08OQhRsFE.email
Every week I write an education moment for a professional group. I usually have a few on hand to read but I always seem to find something that really hits a home run. Mark Edmunson’s article is incredible. Edmunson wrote this article to a college student or a student of life. I doesn’t really matter. What seems to be the point is finding out what one enjoys doing and letting this gift be your guide throughout life.
Personal planning is about identifying these aspirations, targeting a path, monitoring your travels, and making adjustments.
Wouldn’t it be easier if your were happy with the paths?
