Markets Not Capitalism

Many years ago, I was at a conference having a conversation.  The person who spoke to me said something like this, “You know, Chip, not everyone who believes in open and free markets is on the right.  Many are on the left“.

Intellectually, I know this is true.  You should, too.

And this introduction leads me to this interview with Professor Gary Chartier.  Chartier teaches at La Sierra University School of Business (Riverside, CA).  He is the editor of a  new book: “Markets Not Capitalism: Individualist Anarchism Against Bosses, Inequality, Corporate Power, and Structural Poverty“.

So, what does Chartier’s free-market look like and what does he mean by markets not capitalism?  Let’s watch and find out.
